TransX Ltd is seeking a Planner Level 1 within our Operations Department, where you'll work closely with the Operations Manager. Your role focuses on daily regional planning while managing transportation resources to meet service level agreements. You'll also need to uphold strong relationships with drivers, customers, and dispatchers for effective communication and problem resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and allocate freight assets efficiently
• Optimize routing and scheduling for timely service
• Preplan loads up to three days in advance
• Report on truck/load imbalances daily
• Analyze distribution processes to enhance operations
Requirements:
• Secondary education in logistics or supply chain preferred
• Experience in logistics/supply chain an asset
• Solid computer proficiency, especially in MS Office
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Knowledge of trucking industry regulations and standards
