Join Peterborough Family Health Team as a Health Promotion Coordinator working 22.5 hours a week on a six-month contract. Support community engagement and program outreach for enhanced health services.
In this role, you will report to the Patient Services Supervisor and focus on health promotion and communication initiatives across PFHT. Your expertise in health promotion, community engagement, and communications will help raise awareness of group programs and services offered by the organization. Additional responsibilities include developing promotional strategies and liaising with community organizations to strengthen outreach efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify opportunities for increased community program access
• Develop structured promotional approaches for PFHT initiatives




• Support outreach for Group Programs and recent services
• Coordinate PFHT participation in local community events
• Build relationships with healthcare partners and local networks
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required
• 2-3 years of relevant clinical experience
• Current Certificate of Registration from College of Nurses of Ontario
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Understanding of Ontario primary care landscape
