Join the Town of Oakville as a part-time Summer Camp Playleader. Shape children's recreational experiences while assisting in program delivery and fostering a positive environment.
This summer student position requires confirmation of full time student status. As a Playleader, you will support the Camp Coordinator and Senior Leader in executing engaging, safe, and age-appropriate recreational programs. Candidates should bring their passion for child development and camp activities to inspire young campers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and deliver themed children's recreational programs
• Promote the HIGH FIVE principles of child development
• Ensure health and safety compliance at all times




• Maintain accurate records of participant attendance
• Attend all mandatory training and camp functions from May to September
Requirements:
• Must be at least 15 years old by May 2027
• Current Intermediate First Aid with CPR C certification
• High Five Principles of Healthy Child Development Certification
• Prior experience with children aged 4-12 desirable
• Commitment to work 80% of the summer
