In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining industrial edge-banding machinery to apply veneer, PVC, and wood edging to panels and cabinetry components. Key Responsibilities Machine Setup & Operation: Set up, calibrate, and operate edge‑banding machines according to job specifications, material types, and thickness requirements. Material Inspection: Inspect panels, laminated pieces, and edge‑banding materials prior to production to ensure clean edges and proper adhesion. Quality Control: Monitor machine output for smooth finish, alignment, flush trimming, and glue line consistency; perform regular qualitychecks throughout production. Routine Maintenance: Perform regular cleaning, blade/cutter adjustments, glue pot refills, and preventative maintenance on machines. Production Support:



Work closely with the woodworking and assembly team to meet daily delivery schedules and production targets. Safety Protocols: Follow all shop safety guidelines, maintain a clean workspace, and proper safety gear (PPE) at all times. Qualifications & Requirements Experience: Previous hands‑on experience operating edge‑banding machinery in a millwork, woodworking, or cabinet manufacturing environment is required. Technical Knowledge: Understanding of edge‑banding materials (PVC, ABS, wood veneer), adhesives, feed speeds, and cutter adjustments. Attention to Detail: Ability to read shop drawings/cut lists and catch minor defects or alignment issues early. Flexibility: Willingness and availability to work overtime as needed based on production demands. Physical Capability: Comfortable standing for long periods and regularly lifting wood panels and materials (up to 50 lbs).
