Stantec is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to contribute to dynamic building projects in Ottawa, ON. Drive creative electrical system designs and collaborate with clients and team members.
This role focuses on electrical system design, including power distribution and safety systems, within a multidisciplinary team at Stantec. You will manage project scopes, attend project coordination meetings, and support technical deliverables. If you are a skilled communicator with a problem-solving mindset, this position offers substantial opportunities in sustainable design.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead electrical design and manage deliverable deadlines
• Coordinate project meetings and client requirements
• Evaluate and specify electrical systems from 120V to 44kV
• Develop comprehensive design documents including drawings and specifications
• Travel locally for site inspections and client meetings
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 8+ years of consulting engineering experience
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license in Ontario
• Knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and design standards
• Proficient in AutoCAD, ETAP, or Revit preferred
