We're looking for a warm, dedicated live-in caregiver and companion for our elderly mother in our family home in Hamilton.
This is a cooking, companionship, and household role. Her personal care — bathing, cleaning, and dressing — is already handled by PSWs who attend twice daily. Your focus is her meals, her company, and her home.
The position — live-in, Monday to Friday
Active duty 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, 45 hours per week
$21.00 per hour, paid against invoice weekly or bi-weekly
Private room and full board included
Your day
Cook and serve three fresh, home-style meals daily — breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Provide companionship — conversation, company, and a caring, watchful presence through the day
Daily cleaning and tidying of the home
Laundry duties, including linens
Keep the kitchen clean and organized after meals
Also hiring — part time weekend caregiver




We are also looking for a part-time caregiver to take the weekend shift (Saturday and Sunday, same hours and duties). Room and board terms for weekends to be discussed.
