The role connects business needs with appropriate AI technologies through process analysis, readiness assessments, requirements gathering, solution evaluation, pilot support, and performance measurement. This is an analytical and advisory role, not a client success, sales, or account management position.

Key Responsibilities

Business Process Analysis

Assess organizational operations, workflows, existing technology, and business challenges.

Map current‑state processes and identify inefficiencies, repetitive tasks, and automation opportunities.

Gather requirements through structured interviews, document reviews, and data analysis.

Document future‑state processes, operational dependencies, and measurable improvement opportunities.

AI Readiness and Maturity Assessment

Evaluate data availability, quality, governance, technology infrastructure, workforce capabilities, and organizational readiness.

Identify technical, operational, financial, privacy, and security constraints.

Assess the appropriate pace and sequence of AI adoption for each business.

Produce explicit readiness assessments with prioritized gaps and recommendations.

AI Use Case Identification and Evaluation

Identify business‑specific applications of AI across functions such as operations, finance, marketing, HR, and service delivery.

Compare relevant AI products, workflow automation options, and implementation approaches.

Define the business problem, target users, requirements, benefits, estimated costs, and risks for each use case.

Prioritize opportunities by business impact, feasibility, effort, and expected return on investment.

AI Adoption Roadmaps and Pilot Support

Develop phased adoption roadmaps covering priorities, resources, dependencies, timelines, training needs, and success measures.

Translate business requirements into clear specifications for AI consultants, technical specialists, or implementation partners.

Support solution selection, pilot design, user testing, feedback collection, and implementation planning.

Identify change‑management,

privacy, data security, and responsible‑AI considerations.

Technical solution engineering and deployment remain with designated technical specialists.

Business Impact and Data Analysis

Establish operational baselines and define measurable outcomes before implementation.

Analyze potential and realized impacts on time, cost, quality, productivity, and business performance.

Prepare business cases, cost‑benefit assessments, dashboards, and progress reports.

Document pilot results and recommend whether to adjust, scale, or discontinue a solution.

Research and Program Improvement

Research AI applications and implementation approaches relevant to small and medium‑sized businesses.

Develop reusable readiness tools, assessment templates, process maps, use case documentation, and roadmap formats.

Identify recurring adoption barriers and share evidence‑based recommendations with BHive AI leadership.

Contribute to case studies and program outcome reporting.

Qualifications

Degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.

Experience with business analysis, requirements gathering, process improvement, digital transformation, or technology implementation.

Working knowledge of generative AI, automation platforms, and practical AI business use cases.

Ability to evaluate data quality, interpret business metrics, and communicate findings clearly to nontechnical stakeholders.

Experience documenting workflows, building business cases, and presenting recommendations.

Familiarity with privacy, responsible AI practices, and Canadian business environments is an asset.
