In this role within our Property Large Loss team, you will manage multi-line claims, handling escalated issues across Canada and internationally. Your responsibilities will include investigating and resolving claims exceeding $1 million, providing guidance to regional file handlers, and promoting long-term succession. You will also contribute to unit priorities and mentor new talents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and resolve large commercial property claims
• Engage external counsel and consultants effectively
• Mentor and train regional file handlers
• Collaborate with underwriting and stakeholders on risk analysis
• Deliver exceptional customer service to brokers and clients
Requirements:
• 10+ years of commercial claims experience
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements
• Undergraduate degree or CIP designation preferred
• Flexibility to travel as needed
