Apply coding classification standards to medical documentation
Submit provider queries for documentation discrepancies
Perform quality assessments of medical records
Research and resolve errors in coding processes
Abstract and assign appropriate ICD-10-CM/PCS codes Requirements:
AHIMA/AAPC Credentials required
Minimum three years of coding experience
Inpatient and surgical coding expertise needed
