About the Role We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our team. In this role, you will support product assembly, packaging, firmware updates, inventory activities, and shipping/receiving functions. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, follows instructions well, and is comfortable working in a rapid-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities Pick materials and components using work orders
Assemble thermostats and related products using basic hand tools
Perform firmware updates on products using a computer
Conduct light product rework and repackaging activities
Package finished products and prepare orders for shipment
Apply labels and verify product accuracy
Assist with inventory counts and material handling activities
Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments as required
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Support other production and warehouse activities as needed
Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, packaging, or production environments is an asset
Comfortable using basic hand tools such as screwdrivers
Basic computer skills
Ability to follow work instructions and processes
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally
Comfortable standing, walking, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the day
