The Receptionist/Accounting Clerk's primary function is to greet customers with a smile upon entrance to the dealership, and to process payables and receivables as required. The ideal candidate will be willing to perform various clerical tasks, and is responsible for balancing cash. This role is Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Specific Accountabilities
Greet customers upon their arrival at the dealership
Answer all incoming calls promptly, and direct call to appropriate individual
Handle general inquiries from callers
Communicate with all callers in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner and attempt to minimize amount of time they are placed on hold
Refer messages to correct party in a timely manner
Perform clerical duties such as arranging for couriers and proof reading
Process accounting files for all departments
Responsible for cash balancing,




Process accounts receivables and collections
Process accounts payable invoices
Stocking in of recent and used vehicles
Process receivables from manufacturer; co-op advertising; rebates; warranty claims
Assist in preparation of monthly statements through reconciliations of various accounts
Prospect to grow into other roles

Qualifications
Experience in accounting
Valid drivers license and an acceptable drivers abstract
Strong customer service, computer and problem solving skills
High attention to detail
