Salary: $60,000-65,000 plus advantages, RSP plan and room to grow

Our client in professional services sector has a need for an Senior Accountant to join their established team. This is an excellent environment where you will work with a supportive, friendly team.
About the role:
Working along side and supporting the Administration office, you would report into the CFO. Your duties would include but not be limited to:
- accounts receivable and collections
- billing administration and cash applications
- semi-monthly staff payroll, ensuring accurate deductions and government remittances
- general accounting duties including accounts payable and bank reconciliations.
- budgeting and revenue reports including monthly cash reports,
financial reports and investment summaries
- Ad-hoc work as requested by Administration
- Systems used, Sage 300, Quickbooks and Microsoft Office
About the candidate:
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a general accounting role with receivables and payroll responsibilities
- Similar ERP experience is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with strong aptitude in learning new technology tools
- A GREAT attitude, professional demeanor, and excellent communications skills are MANDATORY
- You must be tactful, respectful, dependable and reliable.
