Seeking a pharmacy assistant/technician for a small town pharmacy! Position will include but is not limited to:
Greeting customers and confirming accuracy of all pertinent prescription information
Inputting current and refill prescriptions including third party adjudication
Packaging prescriptions and preparing blister packs
Maintaining inventory (sending/receiving orders, managing expiries & returns)
Maintaining customer and pharmacy files
Handling customer prescription pick up with some cashier responsibilities
General cleaning of dispensary, etc.
Rate dependent on experience. We operate Monday-Friday 9am-6pm and Saturdays 9am-4pm. Closed Sundays & statutory holidays.
Requirements include
Community pharmacy experience
A highly developed sense of customer care
Experience with PROPEL RX operating system
Experience with PharmaClik/McKesson
Excellent communication skills
Attention to detail and superior organizational abilities
Good mathematical skills
Must be versatile, hard-working, friendly and a team player
Available to work some Saturdays
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour
