Join Aecon as the Director of Project Finance, managing large-scale nuclear projects with a focus on financial reporting and team mentorship. You'll enhance accounting practices and oversee finances for the Darlington Current Nuclear Program.

In this senior role, you will report to the Director of Finance and collaborate closely with project teams and OPG, the client. Your expertise in managing accounting for complex projects will be invaluable as you participate in quarterly forecasts, annual business plans, and budgeting activities. You will also mentor staff, ensuring high-quality finance processes on site.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide financial reports to meet stakeholder requirements
• Manage month-end close processes and forecasts
• Review partner invoices for accuracy and completion




• Oversee cash flow forecasts with site teams
• Identify efficiencies and enhance finance processes

Requirements:
• 7-10 years' experience in project finance
• Post-secondary degree with Accounting Designation
• Advanced ERP and Excel knowledge; SAP experience a plus
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and reporting requirements
