Lead strategic initiatives in long-range planning for the City of Niagara Falls. This permanent position demands expert project management and land use planning expertise to achieve Council's goals. The City of Niagara Falls seeks a Long Range Planning Manager to guide complex, politically sensitive planning and policy projects.

You will manage initiatives from concept to implementation, requiring robust project management, analytical skills, and public consultation capacity. The ideal candidate will also represent the City at the Local Planning Appeals Tribunal and liaise with various stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
Manage and implement strategic land use planning projects
Conduct specialized studies and research on planning issues




Prepare requests for proposals and project documentation
Supervise and manage consultant teams throughout projects
Present reports to Council and provide expert testimony Requirements:
Master's degree in Planning is an asset
Minimum four years of relevant municipal planning experience
Robust knowledge of provincial planning legislation
Project management experience is beneficial
