Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-in Caregiver to provide exceptional in-home care for clients in Vaughan. This vital role involves offering personalized assistance to seniors or individuals with disabilities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and independence. Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote dignity and comfort.
Administer medications accurately according to prescribed schedules and document all medication-related activities meticulously.
Support clients with daily activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and organizing their living space to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals or family members.
Assist with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring safety at all times.




Engage clients in meaningful activities and companionship to enhance emotional well-being and reduce feelings of isolation.
Follow all safety protocols related to assisted living, hospice care, dementia care, and working with individuals with disabilities.

Skills
Proven experience in assisted living settings or home care settings with a focus on senior care or hospice support.
Robust patient care skills with an understanding of nursing home procedures and dementia care strategies.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper body mechanics.
Excellent caregiving abilities combined with patience, empathy, and active listening skills.
Knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety procedures.
Capable of managing household tasks such as cleaning, meal preparation, and organizing daily routines efficiently.
Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable.
