Store Assistant Manager/Keyholder – Your role involves supporting the Store Manager in driving sales, coaching and guiding team members, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Duties and Responsibilities
Support daily store operations by scheduling, assigning, and following up on employee tasks.
Recruit, select, orient, and train team members to maintain a strong and capable staff.
Coach, mentor, and develop employees, providing feedback and guidance to help them reach their full potential and address performance issues.
Assist in achieving financial objectives by preparing budgets, monitoring expenditures, analyzing variances, and taking corrective action when necessary.
Build robust customer relationships by understanding their needs, providing exceptional service, and ensuring a welcoming store environment.
Drive sales and marketing initiatives by analyzing promotions, display plans, and operating/financial reports to maximize profitability.
Ensure the store is safe, clean, and compliant with all company policies and procedures.
Implement and monitor loss prevention and shrink programs to protect company assets.

Qualifications and Skills




Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field preferred.
2+ years of management experience in a specialty retail environment.
Robust leadership, coaching, and team development abilities, with a proven track record of motivating and building high‑performing teams.
Customer service‑oriented, with in‑depth knowledge of retail operations and business management processes.
Expertise in shrink reduction, expense control, merchandising strategies, brand differentiation, and partnership development.
Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
Passion for board games, puzzles, and pop culture, with a drive to achieve sales goals.
Experience recruiting, hiring, training, and mentoring employees.
Self‑motivated, energetic, and results‑driven.

Pay Rate

$18 – $19 per hour
