As a Harm Reduction Worker, you'll play a vital role in the harm reduction initiative under the Program Manager's guidance.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing harm reduction supplies, educating staff, and supporting guests in a caring workplace. This role is essential for addressing reliable issues such as mental health and substance abuse, ensuring the health and safety of those in need. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee Lookout’s Harm Reduction and Needle Distribution programs
Assist staff in implementing approved harm reduction practices




Provide clients with information on available resources
Maintain organized manual and computerized records
Participate in creating a safe and caring workplace Requirements:
Certificate in social services or equivalent experience
Familiarity with addiction and harm reduction resources
Current Occupational First Aid Level 1 Certificate
Class 5 Driver’s License and Driver’s Abstract
Criminal Record Clearance – Vulnerable Sector Support and educate clients in harm reduction practices while ensuring their dignity and safety at Lookout Housing and Health Society.
