Join the District of Timiskaming as a part-time Primary Care Paramedic. Engage in emergency response and patient care across various service bases, including Kirkland Lake, Englehart, and Haileybury.

This role involves responding to both emergency and non-emergency calls to deliver high-quality pre-hospital care. Reporting to the Deputy Chief of Operations, you will conduct patient assessments, manage airways, administer medications, and ensure effective patient transport. Members of the community will benefit from your timely, skilled interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to emergency and non-emergency medical calls
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and airway management
• Administer CPR and symptom relief medications




• Perform manual external defibrillation as required
• Ensure compliance with legislation and skilled standards

Requirements:
• Completion of recognized Paramedic training program
• Certification as a Primary Care Paramedic by the Ministry
• Minimum one year of related paramedic experience preferred
• Current Class F Driver’s Licence or in process of obtaining
• Familiarity with legislation governing paramedic services
