This role focuses on multi-pass FCAW welding on massive steel pieces, ensuring compliance with customer inspection standards. You'll read engineering drawings and manage welding procedures while adhering to safety and quality regulations. Key Responsibilities:
Perform multi-pass FCAW welding on large steel fabrications
Produce welds meeting UT and X-ray inspection standards
Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding specifications
Safely operate overhead cranes for moving large weldments
Plan weld sequences for quality and efficiency Requirements:
Minimum 4 years heavy FCAW welding experience
Solid knowledge of welding parameters and processes
Ability to interpret complex fabrication drawings
CWB, AWS, or TSSA certifications preferred
