Fraser Health is looking for Casual Emergency Psychiatric Liaison Nurses to support our Emergency team at Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock, B.C. This role focuses on crisis intervention, intake assessments, and direct patient care. As an Emergency Psychiatric Liaison Nurse, you will collaborate within an interprofessional team to provide patient-centered care for psychiatric patients in the Emergency Department.

The role requires skills in psychosocial assessments, patient advocacy, and effective communication. You will also work on care plans with physicians and assist in maintaining productive patient flow. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct intake assessments and crisis interventions
Evaluate and develop individual care plans




Collaborate with interprofessional team members
Document patient assessments and care plans
Guide nursing staff in managing psychiatric patients Requirements:
Active registration as a Nurse or Psychiatric Nurse
1 year of recent experience in mental health settings
Skills in crisis management and patient advocacy
Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
Commitment to patient-centered care and safety Utilize your nursing expertise and compassion to enhance the care of psychiatric patients in our busy Emergency Department.
