Northeastern Public Health is looking for an HR leader to oversee the integration of human resources from two health units. This critical role includes supervision of HR staff and providing strategic guidance on recruitment, employee relations, and health and safety. You'll also coordinate day-to-day labor relations while ensuring compliance with Ontario legislation and NEPH policies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead HR team in policy and program integration
• Supervise recruitment, attendance, and workforce planning




• Act as liaison for union relations with ONA and CUPE
• Manage grievance processes and case documentation
• Collaborate with external labor counsel on negotiations

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
• CHRP designation required; CHRL preferred
• 5+ years of HR experience in a unionized setting
• Knowledge of Ontario labor legislation and public health
• Committed to equity, inclusion, and reconciliation
