As part of the underwriting team, you will report to the Director of Mortgage Originations and recommend approvals based on comprehensive document reviews. With a focus on the five C's of credit, your decisions directly impact customer outcomes. Your responsibilities will also include staying updated on industry regulations like B20, AML, and KYC.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage documentation for timely mortgage processing
• Assess up to four applications daily for approval
• Communicate with brokers regarding application conditions




• Foster positive relationships through excellent customer service
• Collaborate with Originations to meet performance targets

Requirements:
• University degree or equivalent experience required
• At least 3 years in residential mortgage underwriting
• Strong knowledge of regulatory legislation and documentation
• Proven communication and relationship-building skills
• Must be bilingual in French and English
