Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize chemical processes to meet production targets and quality standards.
Conduct feasibility studies and pilot plant trials for new process technologies.
Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in existing manufacturing processes.
Perform process simulations and modeling to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
Develop and implement process safety management (PSM) protocols.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D;, production, and maintenance.
Prepare detailed engineering reports, process flow diagrams (PFDs), and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs;).
Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental, health,



and safety regulations.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
Manage process improvement projects from conception to completion.
Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in process engineering, preferably within the specialty chemicals industry.
Proven expertise in process design, scale-up, and optimization.
Strong understanding of chemical reaction engineering, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.
Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS).
Demonstrated experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) principles.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
Robust communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
Project management experience is a plus.
