Responsibilities
Assist lead teachers in implementing educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
Support children with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and hygiene practices
Engage children in age-appropriate play and learning exercises to stimulate curiosity and creativity
Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment by following health and safety protocols
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a cohesive learning experience
Observe and document children's progress, behaviors, and needs to inform teaching strategies
Help organize classroom materials, supplies, and educational resources for productive use

Skills




Fluency in English; proficiency in French is a strong plus for bilingual environments
Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development stages
Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with children and adults alike
Familiarity with classroom management techniques and organizational skills
Experience working with children with disabilities or in special education programs is highly desirable
Strong computer skills including basic operation of educational software and record-keeping tools
Excellent time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities effectively
Leadership qualities combined with teamwork spirit to support a collaborative environment
Writing skills for documenting observations and communicating with families
