FerPal is a growing, project-based organization backed by private equity and focused on operational excellence. We are seeking a Financial Analyst, FP&A; to support financial planning, performance analysis, and strategic decision-making across the business.

This role is ideal for a hands-on analyst who enjoys working close to operations, building financial models, and delivering insights that directly impact performance.

What You’ll Do
Support monthly forecasting activities, including revenue, margins, overhead, EBITDA, and cash flow
Assist with the annual budgeting process through detailed financial modelling and consolidation
Analyze monthly financial results and prepare management and board-level reporting
Develop project-level profitability analysis and performance dashboards
Track KPIs including labor productivity, margin performance, backlog, pipeline, working capital, and cash conversion
Partner with project managers on job costing, change orders, margin analysis, and revenue recognition
Support M&A; analysis, due diligence, and scenario planning
Contribute to process improvements, reporting automation, and financial controls

Job requirements

What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA (or in progress) preferred




3–5+ years of experience in FP&A;, corporate finance, or a related analytical role
Experience in construction, engineering, or project-based settings strongly preferred
Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills required; Power BI or similar BI tools an asset
Solid understanding of P&L;, balance sheet, cash flow, working capital, and project costing
Experience with Adaptive and Viewpoint considered an asset
Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, PE-backed setting
Strong communication skills and ability to partner with operational and senior stakeholders
