This role leads corporate tax compliance initiatives within a large-scale business environment, supporting tax accounting, reporting, and planning activities. The position oversees tax systems implementation, compliance controls, and issue resolution across existing and recent programs. The role also manages government audits, tax research activities, and process documentation while partnering with cross-functional stakeholders on tax-related impacts and compliance requirements.

Location: Mississauga (5 Days a Week on site)

Duration: ASAP until Jan 31, 2027 (High Chance of Extension)

Must Haves

5+ years in a

Tax Management role with team leadership responsibilities

Proficiency with

SAP and

Vertex or equivalent tax engines

Hands-on

Provincial Sales Tax research and application of complex legislation

Tax Compliance , reporting, systems controls, and issue resolution

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field

Nice to Have

Retail industry experience

Responsibilities

Lead corporate tax compliance and system support activities

Manage system implementations and updates impacting tax compliance processes

Oversee daily tax compliance, reporting, and systems controls

Conduct research and analysis of tax-related issues and legislation changes

Manage external government audits and provide supporting analysis and documentation

Develop procedural documentation for tax collection, remittance, and recovery processes





Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and report tax implications appropriately
