The Program Assistant will support the Sports& Adventure Program Director and Head Instructors with activities,equipment, and daily operations. Assist with instruction, tournaments, campertransitions, and safe drop-off and pick-up.

WHAT IS AMAZING ABOUT THIS JOB:

Assist the Sports & Adventure Program Director and HeadInstructors with all Sports Camp programs.

Assist with equipment inventory management for Sports &Adventure; camps.

Support all Sports & Adventure programs and instruct whenrequired.

Help organize and co-host cross-camp tournaments and activities.

Ensure compliance with Appleby’s Sports & Adventure proceduresand safety protocols.

Aid in safe drop-off and pick-up for all campers, engaging withparents and guardians.

Assist in daily camp operations including lunch supervision andtransitions.

YOU WILL BE A EXCELLENT FIT IF YOU:





Completed second year of post-secondary education with experienceinstructing Sports or Adventure programs.

Robust athletic and coaching skills with proven experience in arecreation or camp setting.

Organized and confident leading activities in front of groups.

Experience facilitating sports competitions, warm-ups, andadventure programming.

Valid Intermediate First Aid and CPR – C or higher.

Knowledge or certification in canoeing, ropes, or lifeguarding isan asset.

Valid driver’s license is an asset.
