Contribute to exceptional client care with CAMH as a Program Assistant in the Nursing Resource Unit. Support diverse clients in various mental health and addiction settings on a rotating schedule. Join CAMH’s Nursing Resource Unit, where the role involves being cross-trained across inpatient areas including acute and specialty units. You will work collaboratively with a team, ensuring secure and organized unit functions while providing direct client support. Your engagement will encompass various tasks, from participating in treatment activities to facilitating client mobility and documenting observations. Key Responsibilities:
Support clients in group and individual activities
Monitor and document clients’ behavioral observations




Facilitate client transfers to appointments and programs
Ensure the safety and organization of the unit
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members Requirements:
Secondary School diploma or equivalent
Personal Care Worker Certificate or pursuing health-related study
Robust interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Empathy towards diverse clients and backgrounds
