In this full time role, you will manage individual income tax return preparation for U.S. citizens in Canada and Canadians working in the U.S. Your contributions will include cross-border tax planning and delivering insightful technical expertise. Collaborate closely with clients and junior team members, enhancing their understanding while you lead engagement teams and develop innovative work approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare U.S.-Canadian individual income tax returns
• Assist with cross-border income tax and estate planning
• Deliver expert advice on tax policies and changes
• Lead engagement teams, mentoring junior staff
• Develop technical reports and client summaries
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration
• 2 to 4 years of relevant public accounting experience
• Knowledge of Canadian and U.S. tax systems
• Experience with accounting and tax software
• Flexibility to travel as needed
