This role involves managing trauma and acute care surgery cases in a Level 1 trauma center serving over 2.5 million residents. Participation in scheduled general surgery care is also a component of this position.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver clinical care in Trauma and Acute Care Surgery
• Participate in scheduled General Surgery Care
• Support students and learners in a teaching hospital




• Manage trauma cases effectively in a high-volume setting
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes

Requirements:
• Certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
• Fellowship training in Trauma Surgery preferred
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Ontario
• Experience in general surgery required
• Commitment to patient and staff safety policies
