Join the Government of Nunavut as a Basic Radiological Technician in Cambridge Bay. Support diagnostic imaging, perform x-rays, and assist with laboratory services in our community health center.

This role, reporting to the Nurse Manager, focuses on delivering essential radiological services. You will perform x-rays, electrocardiograms (ECG), and assist with laboratory duties as part of the health team. Candidates must have a high school diploma and be willing to enroll in the Basic Radiological Technician training program within three years.

Key Responsibilities
Provide radiological services within the health center
Collect blood and laboratory samples from patients
Instruct patients on biological sample collection
Offer clerical support to diagnostic services
Perform ECG and holter monitor services as referred

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent education
Willingness to complete BRT/Lab Clerk program
Satisfactory Criminal Record Check required
Fluency in Inuktut, English, or French is an asset
Understanding of Inuit communities and culture is preferred
