Collaborate with a Designated Early Childhood Educator to support students from junior kindergarten to grade 6. This position involves actively supporting play-based programming while ensuring a secure and engaging setting for students. You will promote positive interactions, encourage self-regulation, and facilitate both indoor and outdoor activities. Engagement with parents about their children's development is vital. Key Responsibilities:
Follow guidance of the Designated Early Childhood Educator
Foster positive interactions among children and caregivers
Encourage self-regulation and communication skills in children
Support play-based learning and child-initiated experiences
Supervise indoor/outdoor play while assuring safety Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in supervising children safely
Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C training
Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check required
