This role, based in Toronto, Denver, or the Northeast US, offers a unique chance to support sustainable projects.As an Interconnection & PV/BESS Design Engineer at PureSky Energy, you will oversee utility-scale solar and battery storage projects from inception to ~30% design. Your expertise in AutoCAD and PVCase will be vital in developing initial layouts and electrical diagrams. Collaborate with utilities and internal teams to ensure all designs meet interconnection standards.Key Responsibilities:
- Design PV and BESS layouts with accuracy and technical completeness
- Support utility interconnection applications and modeling assumptions
- Communicate design assumptions to EPC partners
- Review EPC design packages for alignment with owner intent
- Conduct technical due diligence for M&A activitiesRequirements:
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Experience with utility-scale solar or BESS projects
- Proficient in AutoCAD and PVCase
