Position Overview
We are currently seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant .
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with daily pharmacy operations, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a strong commitment to accuracy, patient confidentiality, and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with prescription preparation and dispensing while maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, organizing, restocking, and monitoring medication supplies
- Provide friendly and professional customer service and respond to patient inquiries under the supervision of the pharmacist
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all applicable privacy and pharmacy regulations
- Assist with medication administration procedures when required and ensure appropriate documentation is completed
- Ensure the pharmacy area is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Perform additional pharmacy-related duties as required to support smooth daily operations
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn and adapt to pharmacy software systems
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced pharmacy environment
- Professional, friendly, dependable, and patient-focused approach
- Good knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy-related procedures
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per year
