Support vulnerable individuals at SLCS’s HART Hub as a full time Housing Finder. Your role involves connecting clients with permanent housing while collaborating with diverse community partners. As a Housing Finder, you'll be part of a dedicated team at the HART Hub, providing assistance to clients facing homelessness and addiction challenges. You'll utilize your solid communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and knowledge of the housing market to build relationships with landlords and conduct housing searches. This role emphasizes a trauma-informed approach while maintaining a housing stock portfolio, ensuring compliance with local bylaws and advocating for clients in real estate transactions. Key Responsibilities:
Build relationships with participants and assess their housing needs
Conduct thorough housing searches and maintain landlord relationships




Ensure compliance with bylaws and building codes for housing units
Prepare and maintain statistical data to identify housing trends
Collaborate strategically with community partners and co-workers Requirements:
Post-secondary education or relevant work experience
Knowledge of Residential Tenancy Act and local housing market
Experience in social services, sales, or marketing
Valid G Class Driver’s License and reliable vehicle access
