Optiv Energy Inc. seeks an experienced Construction Health & Safety Representative for a solar project in Eastern Ontario. You will leverage your strong knowledge of Ontario construction regulations to identify hazards and coach crews. This full-time, site-based role combines field inspections and significant documentation to uphold safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct daily site inspections covering various construction activities
• Monitor compliance with Ontario health and safety regulations
• Lead toolbox talks and job safety analyses




• Oversee electrical safety and maintenance procedures
• Manage incident investigations and report findings
Requirements:
• 3+ years of construction health and safety experience
• Knowledge of OHSA and electrical safety standards
• Current Working at Heights and WHMIS certifications
• Robust communication and documentation skills
• Valid driver’s license and access to site in Eastern Ontario
