Hatch is seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Designer to enhance our Equipment Technologies Team. In this role, you will work under the guidance of the Lead Mechanical Designer and be instrumental in creating detailed engineering designs. Your expertise will help provide client solutions in industries such as metals, energy, and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Produce mechanical layouts and detailed engineering drawings
• Design subsystems involving mechanical and electronic components
• Review design drawings for accuracy and manufacturability
• Collaborate with project teams and communicate design intent
• Assist and mentor junior team members
Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma in mechanical design or equivalent
• 4+ years of mechanical design experience
• Proficient in Solid Edge and parametric modeling tools
• Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently
