Take the lead in legal affairs at Unit8 as the Head of Legal for North America, based in Montreal. Drive AI adoption in non-digital industries while ensuring legal compliance and risk management.

This senior legal role focuses on commercial, procurement, and governance work across Canada and the US. Reporting to the CFO, you will handle deal negotiations and develop a up-to-date legal process. As a key early hire, you’ll influence our contract strategies and legal team development.

Key Responsibilities:
• Review and negotiate client contracts including MSAs and NDAs
• Advise sales and finance teams on liability and data protection
• Prepare corporate governance documents for North American entities




• Manage external counsel and oversee the legal budget
• Lead the junior In-house Legal Counsel in Europe

Requirements:
• Law degree and member of Barreau du Québec
• 7-10 years in commercial law, in-house or law firm
• Experience in IT, SaaS, or professional services agreements
• Bilingual in French and English for contract negotiation
• Knowledge of US commercial contract law and Quebec civil law
