Reporting directly to the VP, Finance, you will take charge of the full reporting cycle, enhancing processes and controls. Your expertise in public company reporting will be critical for making informed accounting decisions on complex issues. You'll engage closely with the finance team and senior leaders to ensure clarity and consistency in communications regarding financial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead quarterly and annual IFRS reporting cycles
• Own the entire reporting process with clear accountability
• Provide technical accounting guidance and support
• Prepare and review comprehensive technical accounting memos
• Support M&A; accounting and audits with external auditors
Requirements:
• CPA/CA designation with public accounting background
• Extensive public financial reporting experience
• Solid IFRS expertise on complex accounting matters
• Proven M&A; accounting experience considered an asset
• Leadership capabilities in coaching and developing teams
