As a Senior Analyst, you will report to the Manager of Business Applications & Planning, engaging as a pivotal member of the Grid & Market Applications team. You will support Alberta’s energy market in real-time, becoming proficient in the Market Management System (MMS) and other essential software solutions that drive operations. This role requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure best practices and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Understand Alberta's restructured energy market design
• Collaborate with stakeholders for best solutions




• Build relationships with system controllers
• Act as a subject matter expert for software solutions
• Conduct user acceptance testing of market software

Requirements:
• 5+ years in electrical system operations
• 5+ years in software lifecycle management
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Robust communication skills
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent
