About the Role: Letter Carrier – Delivery Agent Your day begins at the depot, where you'll sort and prepare deliveries before loading up a Canada Post postal vehicle. From there, you'll head out on your route, delivering mail and packages to residential and business customers either on foot or by vehicle. It's a role that keeps you moving and engaged throughout the entire shift.
At the end of your route, you'll return to the depot to unload incoming mail and packages for later delivery. Safety, reliability, and a positive attitude are at the core of what makes a great delivery agent. This role may be considered a Safety Sensitive position , and adherence to Canada Post's Substance Use Policy is expected.

Responsibilities As a Letter Carrier – Delivery Agent with Canada Post, your day is a mix of depot work and active outdoor delivery. Each task plays a direct role in ensuring Canadians receive their mail and parcels reliably and on time.
Sort and prepare the day's deliveries at the depot each morning
Load and drive a Canada Post postal vehicle along your assigned route
Deliver mail and packages by foot or by vehicle to customers on your route
Return to the depot to unload incoming mail and packages for later delivery
Requirements / Skills The ideal candidate for this delivery agent role is physically active, reliable, and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions. Canada Post values candidates who are safety-conscious and community-minded. French language proficiency is essential for this Boucherville posting.
Valid Class 5 or Class G driver's licence with a clean driving record for at least 3 years (driver's abstract required)
Physical ability to lift mail items up to 22.7 kg (50 lb) and carry items up to 15.9 kg (35 lb) regularly throughout the day
Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions year-round
Availability to be on-call as needed
French language skills (reading, writing, and speaking) — French is essential for this role
Customer service experience is considered an asset
Delivery or driving experience is an asset
