The Janitor is responsible for keeping Lakeview or Binoojiinh Gamgoonhs clean and sanitized. The Janitor works under the supervision of the Head Custodian.
Qualifications
Highschool Diploma or Equivalency with at least one-year work-related experience.
Current WHIMIS CPR and First Aid Certifications or willing to acquire.
Ability to read and understand labels/instructions for application of cleaning chemical products.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team setting, to maintain effective working relationships with all Childcare staff.
Maintain professional attitude when interacting with children, parents, and visitors.
children and/or vulnerable adults, so a protected and secure working environment is mandatory. Applicants must provide a VSS transparent and/or dated of any convictions relating to sexual interference, sexual assault, or related charges. The VSS must be current 30-days and must be an original.
Preference will be given to Anishinabek people.
