About the Role

As a Speech-Language Pathologist at Kidstart, you will assess and treat children with communication challenges, while contributing to interdisciplinary care plans and supporting families through evidence-based practice. This is an independent contractor position with flexible scheduling options.

Key Responsibilities
Provide assessment, intervention, and treatment planning for children with autism and developmental disabilities
Use a broad range of speech-language pathology skills to support communication and oral-motor development
Deliver direct therapy (1:1 or group) and document assessments, progress notes, and reports accurately
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans
Maintain strong communication with families, caregivers, educators,



and community service providers to support consistent progress across settings

Qualifications & Requirements
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent)
Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia (or eligibility to register)
Membership with SAC or Speech and Hearing BC (preferred)
Strong clinical reasoning and the ability to support children with diverse communication needs
Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a multidisciplinary team
