Reporting to the VP of Strategy & Innovation, the Director of Innovation manages CIRO's regulatory innovation efforts, focusing on identifying emerging risks and fostering responsible pathways for testing current concepts. You will oversee the InnovateSafe program, ensuring the advancement of novel proposals and collaborative engagement with industry stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor the Member Services and Innovation team
• Drive CIRO's innovation mandate and project execution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for strategic solutions




• Oversee AI & Automation Centre of Excellence initiatives
• Identify and address emerging risks impacting investors

Requirements:
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in investment regulation
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Strong understanding of AI and emerging technologies
• Proven leadership of high-impact teams and projects
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
