About the Job
We are seeking a motivated Customer Service Supervisor (NOC 62010) to lead our front-end team at Fresh Market Foods. This is a great opportunity for a strong leader who enjoys a fast-paced retail environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service. In this role, you will supervise cashiers, support daily operations, and help ensure a positive, efficient, and welcoming checkout experience for every customer.

Responsibilities

Greet customers in a friendly and skilled manner.

Answer customer questions and ensure customers leave satisfied.

Attending customers in person/over the phone and resolving customer complaints.

Train and supervise cashiers.

Co-ordinate and schedule the activities of the cashiers.

Monitor cashier performance, ensure accuracy, and provide coaching and additional training asneeded.

Support cashiers in resolving operational and service-related issues.

Maintain specified inventory and order merchandise.

Ensure front-end presentation standards are maintained, including cleanliness, signage, and displays.

Authorize payments, voids, and merchandise returns as required.

Make recommendations to management concerning staff andimprovement of procedures.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service or retail environment is required.

Previoussupervisory or team leadership experience in retail isan asset.

Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.

Ability to resolve customer complaints professionally.

Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings,weekendsand holidays.

Language of Work




Proficiency in English required; French is considered an asset.

Salary Range: $21.00 – $24.00 per/hour (depending on experience)

Start Date: As soon as possible

Transportation:Fresh Market Foods will cover aone-time round-trip travel costfor the successful candidate to our location and back to their permanent residence at the end of the work period. (This does not include the cost for a full trailermove(household goods, trailers, or large personal belongingsetc.).
