Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Stone CNC Operator/Programmer to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and programming CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines specifically designed for stone fabrication, ensuring precise and efficient production of high-quality stone products. Your expertise will help us meet production goals while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

- Set up and operate CNC milling machines to shape stone materials according to detailed specifications.
- Program CNC machines using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software, ensuring accurate tool paths and machine operations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing specifications to produce precise stone components.
- Adjust machine parameters such as speed, feed rate, and tooling based on material type and project requirements.
- Conduct routine inspections of machined parts using calipers, hand tools, and other measurement devices to verify dimensions and quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment, including tool changes, calibration, and troubleshooting machine issues.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly processes, welding tasks,



or additional finishing work as needed to complete projects efficiently.

Requirements

- Proven experience operating CNC milling machines in a manufacturing or stone fabrication environment.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages such as Alphacam and Gcode controls.
- Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of machining processes, tooling, and equipment maintenance.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD/CAM software.
- Basic math skills for calculating measurements, tolerances, and material quantities.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, fabrication techniques, and assembly procedures related to stone fabrication.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications accurately and follow safety protocols diligently.
- Valid forklift certification is preferred for material handling within the workspace but not required
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and waste reduction is a plus.

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
