Prep Academy Tutors is seeking an educator to provide primarily in-home, in-person instruction to students in Grades 1–6 in South Mississauga. Online support may be needed as well.
Responsibilities Provide personalized instruction aligned with the Ontario elementary curriculum, including Math, English and Language, Science, and Social Studies.
Strengthen foundational reading, writing, and numeracy skills through direct, structured instruction.
Support assignments, assessments, projects, and exam preparation as appropriate.
Develop customized lesson plans for remedial support and enrichment.
Communicate with parents and guardians about student progress and learning goals.




Qualifications Current Ontario College of Teachers registration, Canadian or U.S. teacher certification (or progress toward certification), current Bachelor of Education enrolment, or experience as a college or university lecturer or course instructor.
Experience teaching or tutoring elementary students and knowledge of the Ontario curriculum for Grades 1–6.
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to students' homes in South Mississauga.
