Emterra Group is seeking a dedicated Side Load Truck Driver to support waste diversion efforts. You will operate a side load vehicle and perform vehicle inspections while loading curbside materials as per assigned routes. This position emphasizes safety, punctuality, and effective customer interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate side load waste collection and recycling truck
• Load materials safely from curbside into the vehicle
• Conduct pre and post trip vehicle inspections
• Follow safety protocols and maintain excellent customer service
• Complete assigned routes in a timely manner
Requirements:
• Valid Ontario DZ driver’s licence with clean abstract
• Minimum one year driving experience or AZ MELT graduate
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Successful completion of background checks
• Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing required
