As a Cook, you will report to the Culinary Manager, playing a vital role in meal preparation for independent and assisted living residents. Your responsibilities will include adhering to menus, maintaining food handling standards, and ensuring compliance with dietary regulations. Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and serve meals for residents and guests
• Review menus and production sheets prior to meal prep




• Perform daily temperature audits of food storage areas
• Make menu substitutions and record appropriately
• Plan for special occasion and theme meals

Requirements:
• Food Handler’s Certificate required
• Large quantity food prep experience preferred
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets necessary
• Physically capable of lifting heavy items
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain
